Our team of more than 30 people is continuing to grow. Heather Peel, a service user researcher based in Manchester, has joined the gameChange project. We are really excited to have Heather on board – the combination of her lived experience and research knowledge will bring a new and rich perspective to the study.
When asked about gameChange, Heather said:
“I am extremely excited to be joining the gameChange team. As a service user researcher, I will be supporting with the promotion of the study and helping to set-up local workshops with both service users and clinicians within the Greater Manchester Mental Health trust. I look forward to seeing how virtual reality therapy can transform the lives of people with mental health difficulties and help them to build resilience in the outside world. I hope that my lived experience of psychosis will bring further expertise to the trial, supporting an already inspiring and ground-breaking group of academics.”
Welcome to the team Heather!
